Pastor Lopez was born in New York City to Spanish and Cuban immigrant parents.  He is a graduate from Cal State University, Los Angeles with both a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in History.  He completed a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (M.A.T.S.) degree from Liberty University, in Lynchburg, VA.  In addition, he has an M.Div from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo, and is currently enrolled in a Doctor of Ministry (D. Min) program at Talbot School of Theology in La Mirada, CA.  He and his wife, Rebecca have three children, Emilia, Marcos and Antonio-Roman. 

Pastor Lopez was ordained into the ministry of the Lutheran Church in Brooklyn, New York, and has served in Norwalk, California since 2005.
